To Blog or Not to Blog

I’ve been sitting here trying to write for over two hours. I’ve typed out and erased numerous sentences and paragraphs. My brain is going in a million directions. There is so much uncertainty in our world right now; no one alive has ever lived through an event such as what we’re experiencing.

In my job, and in my everyday life, my passion is helping people reach their goals and feel better. I do this mainly through exercise and helping people with weight loss; recently too, I am promoting some amazing CBD products for people and pets to feel better. Through my interaction with people I am often able to share some of my personal life experiences. With some too, I am able to share my faith.

Today, I’ll share my faith with all of you. Without my faith in God and being surrounded by an amazing family and friends, there are some experiences in my life I could not have endured. These include divorce, being a single mom, caregiver for elderly grandparents, injuries/surgeries for husband, and parenting young adult children.

My go-to Bible verse in all life situations is Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. Whatever it is I face in a given day, I try to remember to say, “Today I can do ______________________ with His (Jesus’) strength.” NASB Truth is, I am not strong enough to do what needs to be done on a daily basis without Him. Oh, I’ve tried; just like many of you. We’re all trying to figure out this crazy thing we call life. However, if we know the One who is life; John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life”, life is actually a lot easier to navigate.

I truly believe that God is in complete control of everything. As a believer, I don’t have to understand it all; I just need to trust the One who controls it all. I believe that God’s promises are true; and He loves us (1 Peter 5:7 casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you). I pray for our leaders who are making tough decisions and I pray for our nation as we are all affected by this crisis. I pray for peace of mind, and that we show compassion and love for our fellow Americans.

Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
